Me entusiasma la idea de ser un agente de cambio, pensar que estas familias tendrán un techo sobre sus cabezas propio, digno y más seguro es la principal razón por la que me interesó este proyecto! Con los mas 8,000,000,000 de habitantes en este planeta pudiéramos hacer grandes cambios, con el aporte de U$1, U$ 0.50 centavos de unas 20 mil personas que representa un 0.0000002% de la población mundial se puede construir 1 casa para una familia entera.

The Project
With your contribution, TECHO will be able to give all these five families a new home. It takes two full days to build one house. The home stands on 12 piles and is raised from the ground to protect from moisture, floods, and pests. The home is made out of prefabricated wood panels, which allows beneficiary families and volunteers to participate in the construction without considerable technical training.
The Impact
TECHO will use all donations raised by the participants in this competition to build these five families a new home. If this campaign exceeds the fundraising target needed to build houses for the five families listed as beneficiaries, TECHO will use the surplus to support the construction of new homes for other needy families.
